I have only briefly spent time on Flickr/Creative Commons until today. I did like how you could join groups on a specific topic like Librarians. It would be helpful to myself, teachers and students to search pictures uploaded by librarians. I think it would be good to set up a "classroom" or "school" group on flickr where others in the class or school could view school pictures. Groups could also be good for personal family use.I think the tags are a good tool, since it is something kids are really familiar with and something I am getting more use from. Since I am not currently teaching, my subjects/curriculum are my girls, they are OBSESSED with all things princess and Disney. They asked to see Tinkerbell or Cinderella's castle, so I/we found Cinderella's castle.
